Haiti Seminary Graduation 2010

Time for photographs!

All smiles!

All the college students sang a nice song.

Ready to get started -- only an hour late.

The choir sang two songs and did an excellent job!

Pastor Antony Bathard

The Graduates: Jean Pierre Bonhomme, Moise Chevalier, Libenson Eliassaint, Fresnel Olius

Dad gave greetings!  He was honored for being the founder of our work in Haiti.

I gave the Commencement Address through Don Mobley, my interpreter!

Sis. Emma enjoyed giving the gifts and turning the tassels.

Don with Fresnel & his wife

Loving the children -- just like Jesus did!

Sis. Emma knows just how to do it.

An honorary flower!

Ysemerline appears!

Ysemerline with her father.

She seems to have no limited mobility.  They said she is walking fine, too!

Happy and well!

Now it's my turn.  The pony she is holding was donated by the children of Paul & Janice Hoffman.
Dad wanted in on this miracle too!

Haiti Duties

I got to hold a 5 month old sweety.  She is John Robert's daughter, Phebe.
Ysemerline shows up and she is doing very well.

Dad works to try and fix the ceiling fan in my room.  It has not worked for several years.  I pray the Lord grants him success ... the heat is a sweltering 90 something.  They said the "feel" was 104 degrees today.

August 2010 Trip to Haiti with my father, Kenneth Walter

Breakfast at Harrisburg Airport

Lunch at Ft. Lauderdale, FL Airport.  Mechanical maintenance of our airport made us late so we missed our flight to Haiti.  We were given food vouchers and a free night at Marriot Hotel.
Having arrived at Port-Au-Prince Airport we begin to load the truck.

Menale holds up the back gate of the truck at Port-au-Prince Airport.  Menale recently got his driver's license and Don taught him how to drive our truck.  Don was nervous because it was Menale's first trip into the city with it.  We were so glad he made it safely and that we had a ride to Carrefour.
